Is anything happening in Vail this weekend? Coming up with several friends and it looks like everything is closed and nothing happing in the evening?

The Mountain won't be open...

...until next Friday. But there are a couple of concerts going on this weekend. Laughing Bones is playing at Gore Range Brewery in Edwards on Friday. The Tim Wastell Trio is playing at Loaded Joe's in Avon on Saturday, and DJs Peter Blick and Miah are spinning at Samana Lounge in the Village on Saturday. Also, with so many people flocking into town for the upcoming season, you're sure to have a good time if you hit popular Village bars like The George, Red Lion, Vendetta's or the Tap Room this weekend.
