Can't Miss the Tunnel of Art Tents

Well look! Lionshead is full of ornately crafted robot sculptures poised to hold wine bottles and fancy blown glass vases.

Stephen Fellerman's Glass Art

Stephen Fellerman explains his glass art to a captive audience.

Yes, the Vail Arts Festival has landed once again, and 120 of the nation's best artists will be displaying their masterpieces in Lionshead throughout the weekend, Aug. 8-10.

The power of the imagination is really staggering in the tunnel of tents lining Lionshead Circle.

The creativity is not just embodied in inanimate objects, but also in the form of street performers on stilts, eating fire (sometimes both) and playing live music.

It's basically an outdoor gallery of every eye-catching art form.
